An Online Law Firm: Same Law, Modern Approach.

Because it's not easy to miss work or get a babysitter when your in the midst of a financial crisis!

Most attorneys use the traditional method of meeting clients: The attorney gives you a day and time to rearrange your schedule, drive in traffic to an office, then sit in a lobby in an uncomfortable chair and admire fancy diplomas and legal books.

With all the modern forms of communication, why is that necessary?

Guess what: it's not!

So why are other lawyers still doing it that way?  Probably because it's easier for them that way.  I've taken the time to figure out how modern technology can make it easier on the client, and have set up my office to better counsel and represent you through the Internet, email, fax, and telephone.

Afraid of technology? Don't worry, the technology is all on my end, and helps me better counsel and communicate with you.   All you need is a telephone and a mailbox.  A computer helps, but it's not necessary.

Here are some examples of how I leverage technology:

  • My research materials are online and continuously updated with the latest law;
  • All of my paperwork is kept in a secure digital form so that it's readily accessible;
  • You can pay me over the phone via electronic check;
  • My case management system keeps you informed of your case status and allows us to securely
    exchange important documents;
  • I employ strict encryption procedures to protect your private data and utilize modern backup solutions to ensure your data is safely preserved;
  • I have access to my emails and voice mail away from the office through my cell phone, making me more accessible to you.

Of course, you're always welcome to come to my office for appointments; technology is an optional convenience.

This style of practice allows me to operate as a solo attorney. To a solo attorney, each and every case is important, regardless of size. A large firm rarely prioritizes the smaller cases, preferring to focus on bigger high paying clients. Solos practitioners, on the other hand, rely on your referral business - thus your matters are given the priority they deserve.

For that reason, I handle your case. You won't have some associate attorney unexpectedly appearing with you in court. I utilize virtual assistants both locally and across the country for routine administrative tasks so I'm available to my clients, and can spend more time solving your legal problems. I can only solve problems I understand, and I can't understand your problem without communicating directly with you. If I'm unavailable, then I work hard to return your calls promptly.
